FAQ
What areas do you service?
We proudly serve clients nationwide within the United States. Thanks to our fully remote structure, we’re able to work with businesses regardless of location.
While we welcome clients from anywhere in the U.S., the majority of our current clients are based in Kentucky, Idaho, and Florida. No matter where you're located, we're here to provide reliable, efficient, and personalized bookkeeping and payroll support tailored to your business.
How much do your services cost?
Our pricing is based on the specific needs of your business. Since every company is different, we offer custom packages tailored to your size, industry, and the level of support you require. Whether you're looking for basic bookkeeping, full-service payroll, or fractional CFO support, we’ll work with you to find the best solution—and price—for your goals.
Do you offer flat-rate pricing or hourly billing?
We offer both options! Many clients choose flat-rate pricing for predictable budgeting—it’s also discounted and tailored based on your business and specific needs. Others prefer our flexible hourly billing, which is available for all services, including special projects, consulting, or one-time support. Our standard hourly rates can be found on our Services page. We'll go over both options during your consultation to determine what works best for you.
Are there any hidden fees?
No surprises here. We’re fully transparent with our pricing, and all fees will be clearly outlined before you begin services with us. You’ll always know what to expect.
Can I get a quote before committing?
Absolutely. We offer a free consultation to learn more about your business and provide a personalized quote based on your specific needs—no pressure, no obligation.
What happens after I reach out?
Once you fill out our inquiry form, a member of our team will contact you via email to ask a few follow-up questions and schedule your free consultation and virtual meeting.
What can I expect during the consultation?
During the meeting, we’ll take time to understand your business, discuss your specific needs, and determine if we're the right fit for each other. We’ll also go over pricing, service details, and expectations.
What’s the next step if we decide to move forward?
If both parties agree to move forward, you’ll receive our Standard Service Agreement within a few hours of the consultation. Once signed electronically, we’ll begin the on-boarding process.
How does onboarding work?
Our onboarding is handled personally by our owner. She’ll set up your business in our system, gather necessary access and documentation, and review the scope of work based on your selected services. If your books need corrections before we begin regular services, we’ll complete that first to ensure a clean foundation.
What happens during the first 30 days?
In the first month, we’ll:
-
Track the time and tasks involved in your setup
-
Create a custom internal process and protocol tailored to your business
-
Set up tools and systems needed for smooth collaboration
This period helps us ensure everything is running efficiently and aligned with your business needs. It also allows us to determine how many hours are needed for the services you selected in order to offer a better flat-rate pricing if you choose to elect it.
Who will I work with after onboarding?
After onboarding, you'll be supported by a team of specialists rather than just one point of contact. While you may have a primary coordinator, different aspects of your service—such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or CFO support—will be handled by team members with expertise in those specific areas. We recognize that every business is different, and not every professional is a one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why we tailor your support team based on your industry, needs, and the unique skill sets required to serve you best.
Do I have to commit to a long-term contract?
Not at all! Our Standard Service Agreement is month-to-month, giving you the flexibility to use our services short-term or long-term based on your needs. The agreement automatically renews each month, and if you ever wish to end services, we simply require a 30-day written notice. This allows us to wrap up any outstanding work and issue a final invoice.
Do you offer any other types of agreements?
Yes, for clients with larger workloads or more consistent support needs, we offer a Salary Guarantee Amendment to the Standard Service Agreement. This agreement includes a discounted rate and is designed for businesses that require a set minimum number of service hours per week or month.

Q: How long does the Amendment last?
This agreement requires a one-year minimum commitment due to the discounted pricing. It auto-renews annually unless you provide a 30-day written notice before the renewal date.

Q: What if I need to cancel the Salary Guarantee Agreement early?
We understand that business needs can change. That’s why we include a buyout clause, allowing you to discontinue services at any time with a clearly outlined early termination fee.
Do you file annual income taxes?
No, we do not file annual income taxes. We are not a CPA firm, and therefore do not provide tax filing services.
However, we’re happy to collaborate directly with your CPA by keeping your books accurate, organized, and tax-ready—making the filing process smoother and more efficient for everyone involved.
Will your business train someone to be a bookkeeper?
In short—no, we are not in the business of training individuals or internal staff to become bookkeepers, CFO's or payroll specialists. We're a service provider, not a certified school or training center.

That said, if you’ve previously hired us to manage your books and later decide to bring those tasks in-house—whether due to growth or preference—we will support the transition. Upon request, we can provide detailed documentation outlining how your bookkeeping was managed, along with step-by-step processes specific to your business. This would be delivered during the off-boarding process to ensure a smooth hand-off.
If you're bringing on an experienced bookkeeper, they should be able to take over using this documentation without needing additional training from us. However, you’ll still need to train them on the internal operations and nuances unique to your business.
Will you work for large businesses?
Our services are specifically designed to support small businesses—our goal is to provide professional bookkeeping and payroll solutions without the overhead of full-time, in-house staff.
That said, if you started with us as a small business and have since grown significantly, we won’t leave you hanging. In that case, we’ll have an open conversation about what makes the most sense for your business moving forward. Some business owners prefer to continue working with contractors like us, while others may benefit from hiring internal personnel as their needs evolve.
Ultimately, the decision is yours. We’ll offer honest guidance to help you weigh your options, but we do not take on large businesses as new clients from the outset, as our services are tailored for the small business environment.
